Basic Server Management

SAS provides professional management of the server operating systems, including Windows, Linux and UNIX. This service is perfect for companies that want to manage their own applications, but not deal with the ongoing hassle of tuning, securing and maintaining the operating system of critical servers. SAS engineers will take the burden and responsibility of ensuring your organization gets the proper services for your specific server and operating system.

Basic Server Management Services

  • A system audit to document your architecture and suggest improvements

  • 24/7 technical support of the server and operating system from level 2 and level 3 engineers

  • Security and bug patch notification for the operating system, and when approved, installation

  • Monitoring the network availability of one IP and one URL

  • Monitoring the server’s disk usage, processor usage and load average

  • Visibility into SAS's trouble ticket system via a secure portal

Also included with this service are 2 hours of labor per month for phone support, maintenance, any break/fix work that may be required and handling of alerts generated by monitoring your server.

Additional Services:

SAS offers its clients an economical way to proactively maintain their infrastructure at its peak performance level. Technical support hours can be purchased in advance at reduced rates and used as needed over the duration of the contract. These hours could be used for such things as maintaining a complex system, additional proactive system work that may be desirable, a time consuming break/fix task, etc.
